Field Guard

Three deterrent methods in one device

Field Guard uses three of the most effective deterrent methods: scent, sound and light. The device releases an unfamiliar scent around the protected area. Animals coming out to feed detect it and become more alert and cautious. They stop at the edge of the field, listen and watch their surroundings to check whether it is safe.

Then sound and intense blue strobe light come into action. These stimuli trigger a natural defensive response and effectively discourage wild animals from feeding in the protected area. Field Guard effectiveness reaches up to 90%.

How it works

Sound, light and scent in crop protection

Field Guard works by using animals' instinctive reactions to perceived danger. The scent, sound and light stimuli emitted by the device create a so-called landscape of danger, which animals perceive as a threat to their safety. As a result, they avoid the protected area.

The scent generated by the device is carried by the wind over a large area. Although barely noticeable to humans, animals detect it very strongly. Once an unfamiliar scent is detected, the animal becomes alert and starts listening and observing its surroundings. At that moment, the next stimuli are activated: realistic predator sounds, distress calls and intense strobe light.

This combination of stimuli triggers a natural flight response. A specially developed operating algorithm, including an element of randomness, together with remote updates to the sound library, helps prevent animals from becoming accustomed to the emitted signals.

Precision agriculture

Control the device from anywhere

Field Guard is more than effective crop protection – it is also part of a modern farm and fits naturally into the Agriculture 4.0 approach.

With GSM connectivity and a mobile app, users can remotely check parameters and manage devices from anywhere. The built-in GPS module provides current location information and supports anti-theft protection, while the camera can record events and enable remote field monitoring.

Intelligent energy management and solar charging provide a high level of energy independence. Peripheral sockets also allow Field Guard to work with dedicated optional devices.

Less night-time guarding and fewer temporary deterrent measures. Field Guard works automatically and helps reduce crop damage where wildlife regularly enters fields.
